Building Automation System Design Engineer
Wick Fisher White is looking for someone to design BAS systems from concept through completion. We are seeking someone who is organized and works well with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Survey, document, and design building control systems
Develop sequences of operation, point lists, control diagrams, network diagrams and system specifications
Perform functional testing of building systems
Communicate with other project engineers to coordinate design requirements
Survey and document existing conditions
Travel to client sites as needed
Basic Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
7+ years of experience in design of Building Automation Systems supporting commercial, healthcare, retail, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, and residential projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Familiarity with controls of chillers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, air handling units, pumps, generators, exhaust fans and other building systems and equipment.
Although not required, an outstanding candidate could have:
PE License
REVIT Experience
Commissioning of building systems experience
