BIM Coordinator

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Continually evaluate the company’s BIM software and processes, and recommend improvements related to software, technologies, and best practices.

• Support BIM Manager/IT Manager to enforce BIM Standards, which includes creating and maintaining software template files. 

• Create and modify Revit families in response to project needs.

• Support BIM Manager/IT Manager with training, supervision, and mentoring for the company's Revit/CAD users, including technical orientation of new employees and internal continuing education of company personnel.

• Maintain a current understanding of industry changes and trends related to BIM software and disseminate this knowledge to company personnel.

• Interface with project production, including:

• Provide documentation of engineering design in Revit.

• Coordinate project requirements with client’s documentation and requests.

• Assist with BIM design issue resolution.

• Support distribution of documentation to outside firms.
