President Tony Dileonardo Recipient of SMPS Philadelphia Honoring Legends Award

Tony DiLeonardo was one of top three winners at the Inaugural SMPS PhiladelphiaHonoring Legends Awards event held at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Philadelphia on April 13, 2016.  Tony was recognized for his leadership abilities along with his ongoing support of marketing and business development at Wick Fisher White. Tony was described by the judges as “a unique role model that balances the technical aspects of the trade with marketing and reinvigorating the firm.” 

Nominations were submitted anonymously by peers and colleagues with a total of fifteen candidates being selected.  Judging was done by SMPS Chapter Presidents country-wide and among those fifteen candidates, three people stood out.  The winners included:  Helen Diemer, President and Principal of The Lighting PracticeTony DiLeonardo, President of Wick Fisher White and Nelson Shaffer, Executive VP and CAO of Pennoni.

Judging was based on the following criteria:

  • A well-rounded individual who fosters leadership

  • 25+ years’ experience in the A/E/C industry (any profession; i.e. architect, engineer, designer, planner, owner, principal, etc.)

  • 10+ years in the Greater Philadelphia Region

  • Demonstrated support of or has been influential in marketing efforts

  • Excelled in one or more of the 6 Domains of Practice for Professional Services Marketing: Marketing Research, Marketing Planning, Client and Business Development, Proposals, Promotional Activity, and Management
