Senior Electrical project Engineer
Wick Fisher White is searching for a senior project engineer to design electrical building systems. The ideal fit for this role will be an electrical engineer with approximately 12-15 years’ experience, who is looking to continue to grow their professional skills and responsibilities.
Responsibilities for this role include:
Have knowledge of work in mission-critical, healthcare, corporate interiors, retail, and industrial facility designs.
Perform and be responsible for all aspects of design on projects.
Mentor and delegate work to other engineers and designers, and oversee their production and design.
Ensure adherence to company design standards.
Develop high-level concept engineering design on projects.
Develop engineering designs in both AutoCAD and REVIT.
Develop and write specifications in Masterspec and drawing format.
Perform detailed field surveys and site visits to project sites.
Advise the department director for resource management.
Advise project managers on technical aspects of projects.
Coordinate and advise the internal team, clients and sub-consultants, which will include attendance at project meetings, site visits during Construction, etc.
Perform systems studies and building evaluations, including Arc Flash Hazard Analyses, Coordination Studies, and Short Circuit Studies with the use of SKM software.
Perform quality assurance/quality compliance (QA/QC) reviews of others' designs to maintain a high level of deliverable quality.
Perform construction administration support, including site visits, attendance at meetings, etc.
Resolve technical challenges, support other engineering staff with the same.
Consider opportunities for improvement and present ideas to the department director.
Act as project coordinator when requested.
PE preferred.
