mechanical project engineer

Wick Fisher White is searching for a project engineer to design mechanical building systems. The ideal candidate for this role will be a mechanical engineer with approximately 6+/- years of experience, looking to continue growing their professional skills. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform and be responsible for all aspects of engineering on project in accordance with company standards.

• Develop engineering designs in both AutoCAD and REVIT. 

• Develop and write specifications in Masterspec and drawing format.

• Perform detailed field surveys and site visits to project sites.

• Delegate work to other engineers and designers and oversee their production and design.

• Participate in project meetings, site visits, etc.

• Coordinate with the internal team, clients and sub-consultants, which will include attendance at project meetings, site visits during construction, etc.

• Perform systems studies and building evaluations. 

• Perform construction administration support, including site visits, RFIs, shop drawing review, attendance at meetings, etc.

• Investigate and resolve technical problems and concerns on projects.

• Engineering degree required, PE preferred.

• Typical Experience:  +/-6 years
