Wick Fisher White provided mechanical, electrical and fire protection design for two data centers at a Verizon Wireless location. For the first 4,000 sf data center our team provided design for electrical services upgrades to provide necessary power support. The power system was backed up by two redundant 750 kW diesel generators, and two parallel redundant 500 kVA UPS units. The cooling was designed to be performed by DX computer room air conditioning units. The fire protection plans included double interlock pre-action sprinklers and FM-200 suppression.

In addition, our team provided designs for a 3,000 sf data center where the electric service was also upgraded. The power system was backed up by two redundant 1250 kW outdoor diesel generators, and two parallel redundant 300 kVA UPS units. Cooling was designed to be performed by an additional four DX computer room air conditioning units, one redundant with air distribution from a raised floor plenum. The fire protection included double interlock pre-action sprinkler system and FM-200 suppression. The power room ventilation was designed to satisfy NFPA requirements.
